About us

The Ente

The Ente Carnevale dei Bambini Pro Loco di Orentano APS runs three festivals a year: the Carnevale dei Bambini, the Sagra della Pizza and the Festa del Bignè.

Our story

The Carnevale dei Bambini was born in 1956, when the parish priest, don Livio Costagli, “had the idea of organising a parade to spend a few hours of carefree fun with the children”.

The first committee was appointed in 1959. In 1973 came the first statute and the legal entity, and in 2019 an amended statute created today’s association, the Ente Carnevale dei Bambini Pro Loco di Orentano APS.
